Veslemøy Narvesen

We Don’t Imagine Anymore

Veslemøy Narvesen’s soloproject gathers a wide collection of musical impulses and weaves them together in her own unique take on today’s alternative pop.

Heavily influenced by musicians like Maria Kannegaard, Ethan Gruska, Joni Mitchell and Daniel Lanois, her music is ambitious - combining sophisticated jazz performance with cinematic production and compositions. Her southern dialect also emerges in some of her songs, showing influences from the Norwegian singer/songwriter-scene like Erlend Ropstad and Marte Wulff. Her liveband consists of some of the most exciting up-and coming musicians in Norway, presenting a fearless yet tasteful combination of skillful playing and improvisation within the frame of pop.
