Born 1997 in the city of Kristiansand (NO) Veslemøy Narvesen grew up in a musical household constantly surrounded by creative input. She started playing the violin at the age of six, later recieving lessons on both classical piano and guitar before discovering and falling in love with the drums in her early teens.

Having played with a numerous of established artists in jazz as well as pop like the groups Mall Girl, Moddi, Kongle Trio (winners of Jazzintro and GRAMO-stipendet 2021), Trondheim Jazz Orchestra, Kit Downes, Nils Petter Molvær, Arve Henriksen, Ingebrigt Håker Flaten, Anja Lauvdal and Mette Rasmussen - Narvesen has established herself as one of the most active and interesting young drummers of the Norwegian jazz-scene.

With her first soloalbum «We Don’t Imagine Anymore», released on Jazzland Recordings in 2023, she takes the lead following her own creative impulses filling the roles as a composer, singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist.
